Roman Colosseum
A trip to Italy isn't complete without a visit to the Colosseum
Also known as the Flavian Ampitheater, this gigantic structure built in
the first century AD, covers 6 acres and has walls 15 stories tall.
It could seat 50,000 spectators for events, which included the well
known gladiator battles. Each Good Friday, the Pope leads a procession
to the site.
