Norwegian Cruise Line's Freestyle Cruising started in 2000 and has been implimented fleet wide.  Passengers can eat what, where, when and with whom they want. NCL ships have up to 20 dining options. Passengers can dress the way they want to dress.  Resort Casual is the standard each and every day.

Features include custom pasta stations and one the largest gourmet salad bars at sea.  NCL has two main dining rooms, a buffet and a grill on their their ships and these are all complimentary.  The French, Italian, Asian and steakhouses have fees of between $10 - $25.
