POLICIES
Alcohol - Guests are prohibited from bringing alcohol on Carnival's vessels for on board consumption. However, at the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day, guests 21 years and older may bring on board, only in their carry-on luggage, one bottle, per person, of wine or champagne, 750ml or less.
Smoking - Effective December 1, 2011, smoking will be prohibited in all staterooms. Those guests in balcony accommodations will be permitted to smoke cigarettes and cigars outside on the balcony. Spa staterooms -- currently featured on Carnival Splendor, Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic -- will continue to remain entirely smoke-free, including on the balconies.
Cigar and Pipe Smoking: Cigar smoking is permitted in the jazz clubs.
Tipping - For your convenience, we automatically charge the gratuities for dining and stateroom staff to your onboard Sail & Sign account. The total amount is
$11.50 per guest, per day effective December 1, 2011.
For beverage purchases, fifteen percent of the bill is automatically added to the Sail & Sign charge.
Cancellation - Cancellation charges for individual bookings
begin at 60 days for short term cruises, 75 days for cruises more than 5
days and 90 days for transatlantic, Europe and the Panama Canal.
Pack and Go fares are non refundable.
Single Supplement - Carnival promotes singles on
their cruises and some agencies specialize in pairing up singles in
staterooms to avoid the 200% single supplement. Carnival has been
voted the best singles line by Porthole Magazine.
